Is PanScan integrated into PANTHEON, or is it a standalone solution?

PanScan is a plugin that is directly integrated into PANTHEON and reads, extracts, and modifies data directly in the PANTHEON database.

Why is PanScan better then other solutions on the market?

PanScan is not an external solution that requires an additional plugin, upgrade, or process to connect to the PANTHEON data—it is already natively connected to the PANTHEON database.
All changes made within the PanScan plugin on documents such as receipts, issues, inventory, etc., are displayed in real-time in PANTHEON.

Can i use PanScan with any scanner?

No, PanScan is linked to a specific type of scanner.

Do I really not need anything else beside scanner?

No. If you are using PANTHEON, that is all you need.

Can multiple users work with PanScan at the same time?

Yes, multiple users can use PanScan simultaneously. For example, during inventory, as many users as there are available scanners can connect to PanScan. They can work independently of each other.

How long does the installation take?

The installation duration depends on the size and scope of the company—how many scanners are needed, specific requirements, and the company’s particular needs.

We have multiple warehouses. Is PanScan a suitable solution for our company?

PanScan is an excellent solution if you have multiple warehouses. PanScan is fully customizable, meaning that user-specific authorizations can be configured.
For example, warehouse staff in the Wholesale Warehouse can only access documents related to the Wholesale Warehouse, while staff in the Retail Warehouse can only access documents related to the Retail Warehouse.

Our warehouse staff does not have access to PANTHEON. Will they still be able to use PanScan?

Each PanScan user is linked to a PANTHEON
user. If warehouse staff do not have access to the PANTHEON, it is still necessary to create a user and connect it to PanScan while setting up the required permissions/authorizations.
This way, PanScan can also be used by users who do not have direct access to PANTHEON.

Do we need to purchase any additional PANTHEON licenses to use PanScan?

No, PanScan does not require the purchase of additional PANTHEON licenses.

Is PanScan customizable and can it be adapted to our specific needs?

Yes, PanScan is a fully customizable plugin that can be tailored to user needs.
At the user level, it is possible to define which documents are accessible to which user.
At the document level, it is possible to define which attributes will be displayed and which will not.

Will using PanScan slow down PANTHEON for other users?

No, using PanScan will not affect PANTHEON performance for other users.

Do you offer training for using PanScan?

Yes, during the installation of PanScan, we provide a demonstration of how to use the plugin.
There are also user pages with video tutorials and other details that might be helpful for easier usage.
